The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has notified the examination dates for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers (AEs) in various engineering departments. The computer-based recruitment test will be held on October 18, 19, and 20, 2023.
The AE posts are being filled up in the following departments:
- Irrigation and CAD
- Roads and Buildings
- Panchayat Raj and Rural Development
- Water Resources
- Municipal Administration and Urban Development
- Energy
- Housing
- Industries and Commerce
- Medical and Health
- Education
The eligibility criteria for the AE posts are as follows:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
- A valid GATE score.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the relevant field.
The selection of candidates will be based on a written examination and a personal interview. The written examination will be of 200 marks and will consist of two papers:
- Paper I: General Studies (100 marks)
- Paper II: Engineering Subjects (100 marks)
The personal interview will be worth 50 marks.
The hall tickets for the written examination will be released one week prior to the examination date. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the TSPSC website.
The written examination will be held at various centers across the state of Telangana. The exact exam centers will be announced in the hall tickets.
The results of the written examination will be announced on the TSPSC website. The qualified candidates will be called for a personal interview. The final selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the written examination and the personal interview.
