Chiefs dominate Bears in NFL Week 3

The Kansas City Chiefs continued their hot start to the 2023 NFL season with a dominant 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 3. Patrick Mahomes threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns, and the Chiefs defence held the Bears to just 276 total yards.

The Chiefs got off to a fast start, scoring touchdowns on their first two drives. Mahomes found JuJu Smith-Schuster for a 30-yard touchdown on the opening drive and then connected with Travis Kelce for a 25-yard touchdown on the Chiefs’ second possession.

The Bears responded with a field goal early in the second quarter to cut the lead to 14-3, but the Chiefs answered right back with a touchdown drive of their own. Mahomes capped off the drive with a 1-yard touchdown run to give the Chiefs a 21-3 lead.

The Chiefs added another touchdown before halftime on a 7-yard pass from Mahomes to Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and they took a 28-3 lead into the locker room.

The Chiefs continued to dominate in the second half, adding two more touchdowns to their lead. Mahomes threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the third quarter, and then connected with Isiah Pacheco for a 10-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.

The Bears finally got on the board in the fourth quarter with a 1-yard touchdown run from David Montgomery, but it was too little too late. The Chiefs cruised to the 41-10 victory.

The Chiefs improved to 3-0 with the victory, while the Bears fell to 0-3.

Mahomes has a monster game

Patrick Mahomes was once again in top form against the Bears. The reigning Super Bowl MVP threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns, and he also rushed for a touchdown.

Mahomes was particularly effective in the first half when he completed 18 of 23 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for a touchdown in the first half.

Mahomes was less active in the second half, but he still managed to lead the Chiefs to two more touchdowns.
