OnePlus has confirmed that the upcoming Ace 2 Pro smartphone will be the world’s first device to feature 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The device will also come with 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, making it one of the most powerful and high-specced smartphones on the market.

In addition to its impressive memory and storage, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will also feature a repositioned in-display fingerprint sensor. This sensor has been moved 2cm higher than what is typically seen on OnePlus phones, which OnePlus says will result in a more accurate and reliable unlocking experience.

Other rumored specs of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro include a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with 150W fast charging, and a triple-camera system with a 50MP main sensor.

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is expected to be launched in China on August 16, 2023. There is no word yet on whether or not the device will be released in other markets.

Here are some of the key features of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro:

  • The 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM is the most ever offered in a smartphone. This will allow the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro to handle even the most demanding tasks with ease.
  • The 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage is also very impressive. This will provide users with plenty of space to store their photos, videos, music, and apps.
  • The repositioned in-display fingerprint sensor is a welcome improvement. The sensor is now easier to reach and more accurate.
  • The 6.74-inch OLED display is another highlight of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. It has a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming.
  • The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset is the fastest mobile processor available today. It will provide the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro with incredible performance.
  • The 5,000mAh battery is large enough to provide all-day battery life. The 150W fast charging will also allow users to quickly top up the battery when needed.
  • The triple-camera system is capable of taking stunning photos and videos. The 50MP main sensor is joined by a 16MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is shaping up to be one of the most powerful and feature-rich smartphones of 2023. It will be interesting to see how it compares to other flagship devices that are expected to be released later this year.
