– Conduct thorough customer due diligence
– Collaborate with relevant internal teams and stakeholders to facilitate a smooth offboarding process while maintaining company standards
– Perform periodic reviews, CDD (Customer Due Diligence), and EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) on existing members where required
– Investigation of blocked accounts
– Engage with members on an ongoing basis
– Perform and document transaction reviews, identifying inconsistencies in the nature of business and ownership of the entities
– Work as a case owner and be responsible for the end-to-end process
– Review and validate customer documents and information for Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance
– Identify and report any inconsistencies or discrepancies in customer data
– Conduct enhanced due diligence on high-risk customer accounts
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
– Maintain accurate records of KYC documentation and findings
– Assist in the development and implementation of KYC policies and procedures
– Monitor and analyze customer transactions for suspicious activity
– Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required
– Stay up-to-date with relevant anti-money laundering (AML) and KYC regulations
– Provide training and guidance to colleagues on KYC processes and best practices
Tide Work From Home Jobs – Skills Required for Re-KYC Analyst
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients and internal stakeholders professionally
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
– 1-2 years of experience in KYC/AML compliance within the commercial banking sector, with a specific focus on offboarding and periodic reviews
– Strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., FCA, etc.)
– Ability to operate on different platforms and software simultaneously
– Comfortable with, and preferably advanced knowledge of Google Sheets, will be an added advantage
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
– Passion for working under challenging situations
– Strong organizational and ownership skills
– Experience working in startups will be an added advantage
– Proactive in working on different remediation projects
– Experience in working with offboarding of accounts
– Ability to handle escalations from different departments as priority requests
– Must be flexible and able to multitask efficiently
